Whew! Boy is Springtime a busy time! So since Easter it has been a whirlwind of activity here at the Homestead! My Husband has taken to the idea to heat the house with wood in the fireplace this coming winter. We supplemented (and by that I mean: ‘OO Pretty, flames’) with some kind of piping grate induction kind of thing that goes inside. So, anyhoo, with that some of our neighbors are doing their own Spring cleaning and taking trees out so he has been helping and getting to keep the wood. Well guess what? That led to the construction of the (as I affectionately call it) the Taj Mahal of wood sheds. So yup, I’ve been helping with the build. And to make it a little prettier (cough) I added a flowerbed on the front and put in some Jasmine and Honeysuckle. I as you can see from the pics, she’s a monster. I think he said it will hold 10 to 12 cords and NO we will not use all that in 1 season. But it will cure as it is ‘green’ and then he can just add to it each Spring/Summer what we use over each winter.
Also, so excited, Sapphire Ragdolls was wanting a new look for website so I was also working on her Custom WordPress Theme, I call it Shabby Beach. I love the way it turned out and so does Michele! Look for the link in my Portfolio!
Of course there has been the ever important updates/maintenance performed for all my other clients. Remember, it is IMPORTANT to keep your websites updated and ‘fresh’ by doing little changes on your Home page or the main page that you want to pop up in a Google Search! That’s how you get the traffic!
Now I’m off to design a Custom WordPress Theme for another client wanting a new look. This one is also a conversion! Meaning we’re upgrading to WordPress as well! Not going to tell you what we are thinking but check back in to see how Lordocs turns out!
