Thank you everyone for your patience while my husband and I pulled off the feat of a lifetime!
It was super secret, 7 months in the making and the Stars managed to align perfectly!
My husband planned a surprise birthday event for my MiL. We managed to get all her children (all 5 from PA, AZ, TN & ID) and her 4 Siblings all together in One State (OH). They haven’t had a gathering this big since 1974 with all present! 4 Generations and 33 Family members!
It was a fun time with lots of wonderful memories and one reality check: I’m a Great Aunt! Nothing like being excited and telling my niece & nephew about how exciting it will be to see their Great Aunts & Uncles and then realize I’m the Great Aunt and they will be seeing Great Great Aunts & Uncles!!! And it was sooo much fun seeing that actually come true!
Running around on the Farm, explaining that the Amish are not extinct and really do exist, going to the Dairy Farm and getting to milk a cow and drinking the fruits of their labor, fishing in the pond, picking peaches for freezing and jam, learning about honey bees and the list goes on!
